LED Products Manufacturer's Association (LEDMA) The association aims to promote awareness about solid state LED products and introduce energy efficiency, which makes optimum use of available power resources in India.

To put India on global map of the LED industry, it is important to establish a strong indigenous manufacturing base. The association will help to regulate the working of the Indian LED industry and ensure quality product delivery, adherence to international standards and ensure its success in the long run.

This also enables LEDMA to work with policy makers in restricting the spurious and substandard products reaching to consumers.

Industry Segments LED Industry in India has a collective turnover of about Rs. 5,000 crores in India, so LEDMA hope to draw the attention of the Government and public to strengthen and develop the LED industry.
To serve as a single platform to address the issues of the growing industry and to make people aware of the future lighting technology, Indian LED manufacturers have joined force with Dr.M V Ramana Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of MIC Electronics Ltd as its President to set up LED Products Manufacturers Association (LEDMA).
